Hailey – Sagittal & Coronal

Hailey was diagnosed with Crouzon Syndrome at 3 months old. She underwent her first CVR at 4 months old on her sagittal suture. The surgery went flawless and improved her quality of life by a lot! We weren’t aware that she was having horrible headaches from the brain pressure.  After the surgery she was a super happy little baby. Then when she was 2 yrs old, her coronal sutures began fusing and she had a Front Orbital Advancement at 2.5 yrs old. This surgery was a lot more intense. Her eyes were swollen shut for over a week, we were in the hospital for 6 days.  Hailey suffered from some stress and anxiety from strangers touching her and her not being able to see. But coming home was the best medicine and she was soon back to her normal self. A month or so after that surgery, she developed a pyogenic granuloma and needed to have a small surgery to remove the growth…a week later the incision site became infected and we had more trips to her hospital. Two months of shaving her incision site and bandaging it worked and all of her hair is now grown back and she is a beautiful little girl getting ready to celebrate her 3rd Birthday the beginning of January! Two days after her birthday we are scheduled to go back down and set up her eye surgery but we are told this will be walk in the park compared to what she has already gone through!
